Imagine seeing your favorite meal in a magazine ad. That photograph looks so good that you can almost smell and taste it. The photograph makes you want to eat it! As still life photography goes, food photography’s commercial specialization makes it one of the most persuasive. Used in advertisements, magazines, packaging, menus or cookbooks, the devil is in the details, very subtle details. I like to think that I create what has recently been dubbed “Food Porn”. The photograph that not only looks good enough to eat but also compels you go get some RIGHT NOW.
